My name is Kailey and I am the owner and director of Little Dragonflies. I was born and raised here in Wilmington, NC. Fun fact about me is I have a twin brother. I am a Doodle mom of three...yes, three: Trixie, Luna and Snoopy! Prior to opening our childcare center, I was an Elementary school teacher for five years. I taught Kindergarten, First and Second grade. Opening a daycare has been something my mom and I have wanted to do together for years, and that has finally come to light. We are so excited to get to know so many wonderful families and to love on your kiddos everyday! 

My name is Tracie and I am the owner and assistant director of Little Dragonflies. I am married to my wonderful husband, James, of 32 years and we have two beautiful children...twins, Kailey and Kyle. I was a mother/baby nurse for 20 years until we decided to pursue our dream of opening a childcare center together. My goal is to make everyone feel like family, and for you to know everyday that your child is well taken care of! 

My name is Jensen and I am the Lead Toddler teacher! I moved to Wilmington from Connecticut. I am so excited to help your little ones grow and learn. I graduated High School in 2024 and have completed two semesters of College with my focus being Early Childhood Education. I got my love of teaching from my mom as she has been a Preschool Teacher for 35+ years. I started working with my mom at a Reggio Emilia based school and have found that it is one of my favorite philosophies to teach by. I believe play is the basis for all learning! I am looking forward to a fantastic time teaching at Little Dragonflies! 

My name is Jenna and I am excited to be a part of the Little Dragonflies team! Caring for young children has been my passion for 20 years, with 12 years focused on infant care and development. I enjoy providing a gentle, nurturing, and responsive environment where babies learn through play.

I've raised 4 sweet children of my own and have 2 lovely granddaughters, with another grand baby on the way!

In my free time, I love being with my family, spending time at the beach, and cooking. I look forward to supporting your child through their earliest learning experiences! 

Hi! I’m Jillian, the Assistant Toddler teacher who loves helping children grow, learn, and have fun. I’ve been coaching gymnastics since I was 14, which sparked my passion for building confidence and supporting development through play! I’m currently a student at UNCW in the Recreation Therapy program. I enjoy creating a safe, nurturing environment. In my free time, I love arts and crafts, baking, music, and spending time with friends and family. Originally from Maryland, I now live in North Carolina with my cat, Lacey! 

Hello! My name is Sabrina Morris, and I am thrilled to be joining the wonderful team at Little Dragonflies Childcare as a Teaching Assistant. With a background in performing arts and a passion for working with children, I bring a unique blend of creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom.

I have been teaching dance at Dance Express Performing Arts Center and working as a travel agent with Magical Vacation Planner, both roles requiring patience, communication, and the ability to engage effectively with people of all ages. My experience has given me a strong foundation in creating fun, interactive, and educational experiences for children.

I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn and grow. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching Disney movies, and traveling. I look forward to bringing my love for learning and creativity into the classroom and helping your children thrive at Little Dragonflies. 

Hi! My name is Nyah and I am an assistant teacher for the infant class. I have been working in childcare with my mom, Ms. Jenna, since I was 13. I have a passion for teaching children and watching them grow! I was born here in North Carolina but grew up in Colorado and moved to Wilmington in 2021. I graduated from Ashley High School in 2023 and take classes at Cape Fear. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, going to the beach and spending time with my lab puppy, Otis!
